We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse Delivery Network. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager. The manager is the site lead for all engineering matters within a building. Responsibilities include leading the team, building a culture of safety, ensuring statutory compliance, providing high equipment availability to the General Manager, working with the EU Engineering team to plan for future growth, and taking part in network-wide improvement initiatives. /p pThis role includes a travelling activity of 15%. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the team, own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team and mentor their direct reports who in turn develop the technicians within the team. /li liWork with the site Safety department Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs, providing a safe working environment for all staff. Own the legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead within this framework. /li liWork with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high quality experienced staff, including support to Apprentice and Graduate programs. /li liImplement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required, focusing on preventative maintenance programs. /li liMaintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible. /li liMaintain a long‑term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades or new equipment rollouts. /li liTake part in network-wide improvement initiatives and implement standards created elsewhere in the network. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree, or experience at Amazon /li liExperience in employee and performance management /li liExperience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field /li liExperience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management /li liWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards /li liExperience in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
