Job Description
In this key role, you will manage, direct, and drive direct sales with a focus on the local public market. Create and implement strategic plans aimed at attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in local public accounts and leverage these relationships. Coordinate with internal teams to generate and deliver Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that foster strong ongoing relationships.
Responsibilities
* Develop account plans to achieve and surpass sales quotas.
* Maximize Fortinet opportunities while providing value-added solutions to local public institutions.
* Serve as the lead contact for information flow to/from executive management.
* Collaborate with other account managers to maximize business focus and ensure successful activities in the territory.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and partners.
* Manage relationships with region MAMs, Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals.
* Build and maintain an accurate territory pipeline.
* Travel within the assigned territory as required.
Required Skills
* Experience in technology sales, especially solutions to local public customers.
* Experience in the network security industry is preferred.
* Proven track record of exceeding quotas and demonstrating career stability.
* Experience with Firewall/VPN, Antivirus, IDS/IDP solutions.
* Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Goal-oriented with strong leadership, business acumen, and team development skills.
