**R**ole**
As a Chef de Rang, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Working within one of the hotel's outlets, you will be responsible for managing your own section, ensuring seamless service, anticipating guest needs, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism. You will act as the face of the restaurant at your station, showcasing elegance, efficiency, and deep knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette.
**R**esponsibilities**
- Warmly welcome guests and provide personalized, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Manage and oversee a specific section of the restaurant, ensuring it is always prepared to the highest standards.
- Take food and beverage orders with confidence, demonstrating detailed knowledge of the menu and wine list.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and sommelier to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of courses.
- Perform tableside preparations and service (e.g., carving, flambé, wine service) when required.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the assigned station and mise en place.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and ensure guest satisfaction at every stage.
- Train and supervise Commis de Rang or junior colleagues within the section, guiding them to uphold service standards.
- Handle guest complaints or feedback with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
- Uphold the luxury brand's service standards and represent the restaurant's ethos with pride and professionalism.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and service techniques, with a passion for delivering refined guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English ( additional languages are a plus).
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
