Overview Siemens offers a Local Talent Program in Smart Infrastructure Buildings to train Apprentices for two years as Junior Sales Specialist in the following locations: Milan, Turin, Padua, Rome, Bologna, Florence. Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings integrates advanced technology to create intelligent, adaptable, and sustainable environments. They use data and digital solutions to enhance efficiency, comfort, and safety in buildings. Your journey with us Throughout your journey, you’ll be supported by an experienced manager acting as your mentor. Based on your personal profile and our business needs, your mentor will help you unlock your full potential and guide you in shaping a meaningful and sustainable career path. Development focus and rotations During the program you’ll experience a cross-functional rotation to gain deep technical and commercial expertise in our digital solutions, enrich your eye for business, and develop your personal skills in these areas: Pre-sales: You’ll dive into solution design and value engineering, shaping tailored proposals that resonate with customer needs. Learn to position offerings as strategic enablers—leveraging tools, data, and storytelling to build trust and drive impact. Sales: You’ll join the sales team during client visits to gain firsthand experience in customer engagement, understand challenges, and learn how to position our solutions effectively. This rotation will sharpen your communication and contribute to strategic conversations. Digital and Sustainability area: You will support the promotion of the Smart Infrastructure Buildings digital portfolio, including digital solutions and services. You’ll help enable the sales organization by promoting value selling, understanding customer difficulties, and aligning our solutions to address them. You’ll gain exposure to sustainability initiatives and how digitalization supports environmental goals. Responsibilities Support the sales team and customers in identifying the best technological solutions, translating business needs into impactful proposals. Explore the market and competitors’ offers to stay ahead of industry trends and sharpen our strategic positioning. Scout new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and consultative selling. Promote digitalization and innovation across the buildings’ landscape, helping clients unlock efficiency, sustainability, and performance through smart technologies. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and how Siemens technologies can help them stay competitive in a rapidly evolving environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-create valuable solutions, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and support the deployment of innovative digital services. Requirements You are under 29 years of age Available to work from Milan HQ for the first year of the program Recent graduate or about to graduate in engineering or economics with a passion for technological innovation Ideally, you have international experience (study or internship abroad) Proficiency in English and Italian Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a changing environment Desire to continuously grow Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge Eligibility to work in Italy and willingness to travel and work nationally What we offer Strengthscope: the world’s most complete strengths profiling system.
