Experteer Overview
In this Category Manager role, you shape Sephora's category strategy in Milan by driving the marketing mix and 360 launch plans. You lead cross-functional collaboration with brands and suppliers to deliver impactful assortments, pricing, promotions, and in-store animations. You translate market and consumer insights into category actions, while mentoring the team and maintaining strong stock and sell-through performance. This position combines strategic influence with hands‑on execution to differentiate the category in-store and online. You'll contribute to Sephora's mission of empowerment and inclusive beauty while enabling growth and results.

- Build and optimize the marketing mix (assortment, price, promotions, product animation) based on market and consumer insights
- Scout, launch and manage new brands with a full 360 plan (in-store setup, price, promo, communication)
- Coordinate with other departments to implement strategy via clear sales guidelines
- Develop animations and local big ideas to differentiate in the market
- Establish trusted relationships with brands and co‑create strategy
- Pilot sell‑in, sell‑out and stock forecasting per brand with cross‑functional guidelines
- Negotiate with suppliers to maximize support for store operations
- Analyze data (sales, consumer, market reports) to extract insights for category strategy
- Manage and empower the Category team
