Business Development Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy. This is a field-based role that requires extensive travel within Italy and occasionally outside the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* To form close relationships with end users, consultants, and specifiers in the Video Security Channel to promote the Hanwha brand and increase sales and demand for Hanwha security products.
* To achieve set objectives relating to all relevant sales and product quantity mix by analyzing market opportunities and influencing decision-makers.
* To develop a network of partners (integrators and installers) as part of the STEP Programme and manage sales revenue generated through assigned partners.
* To support activity of Strategic Sales Managers for opportunities identified in the assigned region within defined Strategic Vertical Markets.
* To undertake various responsibilities including end user consultations, liaising with major system integrators at senior level, ensuring actual customer bases are kept updated with product information, increasing project pipeline and revenue with existing active customers, creating a project pipeline with new customers, reporting on weekly basis on sales and project progress, existing customer audit analysis, product and market segmentation, positioning, and targeting, input of ideas towards marketing plans for new product launches and customer events, focus on product/channel/customer margin, accuracy of forecasting, and achievement of all budgets and targets.
Requirements:
* A proven track record in a business development or sales role achieving sales in a demanding environment.
* Extensive experience of CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, particularly presenting relevant solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
* Capability to work independently in understanding customer needs, defining solutions, and creating professional commercial proposals to customers.
* Must have a knowledge of the market, main channels, and potential customers within the electronic security market, IT & Networking.
* Previous experience working for a CCTV manufacturer would be beneficial but not essential.
* Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be advantageous.
* Intermediate and advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Excel.

* English Language essential plus at least one local European language.
* Clean driving license.
