Ph3Overview /h3 pbThe Role: /b /p pA leading multinational company in the industrial sector is looking for an Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow its presence in the North-West Africa Turkey region. /p pThis role is meant to amplify the effectiveness of the Salesmen job and SoW (Share of Wallet) when calling on customers within the specific markets in the region within a model of indirect business. By focusing on customer needs and main business drivers, the Area Manager will help deliver tailored value propositions and expand the product portfolio in the region. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and coordinate sales activity within the assigned region through a distributor-based, indirect sales model. /li liManage and support a regional sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs. /li liAchieve assigned targets on the back of AOP. /li liMonitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and provide regular reporting to senior management. /li liCollaborate in defining the market strategy within a matrix organization, involving multiple internal stakeholders. /li liDrive strategic account planning and manage negotiations at all levels. /li liMaintain regular contact with key customers and distributors, planning structured and effective visits. /li liEnsure sales representatives deliver optimal product and solution mixes, maximizing the company’s presence and offering per customer. /li liIdentify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring cost control in line with objectives. /li liApply company guidelines for contract review and ensure appropriate delegation of authority is in place. /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent field. /li liMinimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Area Manager role. /li liProven track record in sales management within the MEA region. /li liProven track record in handling distributors, retailers, contractors. /li liFluency in English, Arabic and French (written and spoken) is required. /li liFluency in Turkish will be considered a plus. /li /ul h3Key competences /h3 ul liStrong business acumen and a customer-centric approach. /li liStrong understanding of the key financials KPIs /li liTarget-driven with the ability to consistently deliver results. /li liHigh resilience and effective stress management. /li liFlexible, dynamic, and proactive, with strong cultural sensitivity toward the MEA region. /li liCapable of working in complex, matrix organizations. /li liExcellent leadership and team management skills. /li liAdvanced negotiation and communication skills, including public speaking. /li liMarketing mindset: strategic planning, account development, and competitor intelligence. /li liAbility to define value propositions and set priorities based on business impact. /li liPassion for innovation, with a continuous improvement and risk-taking attitude. /li liStrong focus on Commercial Excellence. /li /ul pbLocation /b: Italy - responsible for North-West Africa Turkey /p pbTravel Requirement /b: up to 75% /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
