Procurement Expert - Sourcing Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to lead our sourcing function, building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing cost and quality, and aligning procurement strategies with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. They will be responsible for defining and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and production requirements, selecting and evaluating suppliers, and leading cost optimization initiatives.
About the Role:
* Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and production requirements
* Select and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness
* Lead cost optimization initiatives through value engineering, design-to-cost, and total cost of ownership analysis
* Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure procurement supports product development and operational efficiency
* Monitor supplier performance and manage risks to ensure continuity of supply
* Promote digitalization and data-driven decision-making in procurement processes
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including sustainability standards
* Support the development and mentoring of procurement team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
* Actively participate in quarterly sourcing meetings to share best practices and align on strategic initiatives
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or related field
* 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in strategic sourcing roles in manufacturing companies
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, and cost analysis
* Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Experience with ERP, PLM systems, and digital procurement tools
* Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
