This role operates at the field site, providing quality service to customers. Responsibilities may include sales, job design, execution, and follow-up activities. It involves planning, providing instructions to the crew, and managing equipment.
As a Junior Control Field Service Specialist, after completing an intensive training program, you will be responsible for:
* Providing technical guidance to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
* Overseeing overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of rotating equipment and products at customer sites.
* Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, and reports for customers and internal teams.
* Ensuring compliance with training, safety, and quality standards.
* Managing digital tools for technical documentation, packing lists, bills of material, and drawings.
* Following detailed instructions under direct supervision during on-the-job training.
* Assisting other crew members during installation or maintenance activities at customer sites.
* Learning and assisting in maintenance and installation of IET rotating equipment.
* Interacting primarily with mentors or supervisors and other specialists.
* Performing all responsibilities safely and according to company procedures.
* Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and core values.
Fuel your passion
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Experience in electrical/electronic roles within energy or oil and gas environments.
* An electrical/electronic technical degree or engineering bachelor's degree.
* Basic knowledge of control systems such as PLCs.
* Hands-on experience in the field or engineering.
* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
* Good communication skills.
* An EU passport or European work permit, and fluency in English and Italian.
* Willingness to travel up to 70%, domestically and internationally, including offshore facilities.
