Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Overseas Sales Manager to spearhead the market expansion and sales of our comprehensive portfolio, including energy metering products (electricity, water, gas meters) and new energy storage solutions (commercial & industrial energy storage, smart micro-grids, EV charging piles). This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, establishing long-term customer relationships, and strengthening our market position internationally.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Generation:
- Take full ownership of achieving and exceeding assigned annual sales targets for the designated territory.
- Aggressively identify, generate, and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the energy sector.
Customer & Channel Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with a diverse client base, including utility companies, EPC contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Manage key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, account growth, and contract renewal.
Strategic Sales Execution:
- Conduct in-depth customer needs analysis and develop tailored solutions and compelling proposals to win business.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification and proposal development to contract negotiation and project initiation.
Market Intelligence:
- Participate in international industry trade shows and conduct market research to gather intelligence on competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Provide insightful market analysis reports to inform product development and strategic planning.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the key liaison between customers and internal teams (technical, project management, logistics, after-sales) to ensure seamless order execution, on-time delivery, and superior customer experience.
- Oversee post-sales support coordination to resolve issues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education & Background:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, International Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in international markets, preferably within the energy, metering, or power solution industries.
- Strong sales track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and managing complex B2B sales cycles. Experience with Europe markets is highly desirable.
Required Skills
Sales Expertise:
- Demonstrated ability in key account management, channel development, and complex project negotiation.
Communication:
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and proposal-writing skills. Fluency in Italian is mandatory.
