The role Are you passionate about designing Microsoft solutions that truly solve enterprise customer challenges?\nDo you enjoy working alongside sales teams and turning technical expertise into compelling, value-driven proposals?\nWould you like to join a global software and cloud leader operating in 70+ countries?\nPractical Information\nLocation: Rome or Milan, Italy | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Contract: Full-time | Language Requirements: Fluent Italian & English\nAs a Solutions Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with sales teams and enterprise clients to design and position impactful Microsoft-based solutions. In this role, you will act as the bridge between technical depth and commercial strategy, helping shape proposals that are technically sound, commercially strong, and aligned with customer needs. You will support the full pre-sales cycle, drive Microsoft 365 and cloud adoption initiatives while contributing directly to revenue growth and strategic positioning.\nKey Responsibilities: Scope and qualify opportunities together with sales teams, identifying customer challenges and business drivers\nDesign tailored Microsoft Modern Workplace and Cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra Suite, Security, IAM, Copilot, Power Platform)\nSupport tenant migrations, backup & recovery, endpoint management (Intune, MDM, Autopilot) and cloud adoption projects\nBuild structured, customer-focused proposals and Statements of Work aligned with commercial objectives\nLead customer workshops, demos, and solution presentations\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions\nContribute to opportunity strategy, objection handling, and deal progression\nStay updated on Microsoft ecosystem innovations and market trends What we need to see from you Background as a System Engineer or Technical Consultant, evolved into a Presales or Hybrid Sales/Presales role\nSolid expertise in:\nMicrosoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, migrations, backup)\nEntra Suite / IAM\nSecurity within Microsoft ecosystem\nEndpoint management (Intune, MDM, Autopilot)\nAzure\nExperience working with enterprise or large corporate clients\nStrong sales acumen: ability to identify opportunities, handle objections, and contribute to closing deals\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills\nWhat’s on offer\nOur company benefits vary based on your location, but always include: Global company culture: We defined our 6 core values through our company culture (https://www.softwareone.com/en/our-story/our-values).\nA mentor who supports your successful start and is at your side with advice and action.\nPresident’s Club: Recognition awarded by leadership and your peers.\nFlexible work: Do great work from anywhere but also visit local office to deliver excellence in team relationship.\nLifelong education: A variety of training and development opportunities.\nHire to Grow: We optimize our internal structures and feedback culture constantly to be your Employer of Choice, today and in future.
