BWhat will be your mission? /b pAs a bChef de Partie /b, you will oversee a section of the kitchen and will support the Executive and Sous Chef in the hotel´s kitchen. br /You will ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, preparation techniques, and also keeping an eye on food cost in the area. /pbWhat will you do? /b ulliPlan, schedule, and organize work to ensure proper coverage by the kitchen staff of your expense. /liliPrepare, cook and present high quality dishes according to recipes/menu within company standards. /liliSupport and supervision of the cooks assigned to your departure in various aspects of food handling and preparation when needed. /liliSupervise the quality, presentation and quantity of food that is prepared. /liliSupervise the control of the proper storage of products. /liliSupervise the reception of items and take control over the inventory as required. /liliSupervise and maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area. /liliGuarantee compliance all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines (HACCP). /liliEstablish, together with its supervisor, the optimal guidelines in the operation of the departure. /li /ulbWhat are we looking for? /b ulliAt least 2-3 years’ practical experience as a Cook, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. /liliVocational training on hospitality/FB/kitchen. /liliFluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English is highly valuable. /liliWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office, POS, etc). /liliOrganizational skills. /liliAbility to work under pressure. /liliFocus on detail. /liliAbility to work on his/her own and as part of a team. /liliCustomer service oriented. /li /ulbWhy choose us? /b pAt bMinor Hotels Europe Americas /b we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
