Business Development Role
In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial part in driving growth for our organisation's Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) services. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities with prospects and targets, building and nurturing relationships with new and current customers, and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including project management, quality assurance, manufacturing, and technical teams. A detailed understanding of CRM tools is also essential.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. You should have minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services. Fluency in English and Italian is required, as well as familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
