Industrial automation is evolving and Arduino is building the tools that make it smarter, more connected, and reliably scalable. We’re looking for a Product Manager for Industrial Automation Solutions to lead the expansion of our growing industrial portfolio.
In this role, you’ll shape Arduino’s future in the industrial space, owning the roadmap of our flagship products already adopted by engineers and system integrators worldwide, while also driving the design and launch of new hardware and software solutions for factory automation, intelligent infrastructure, and edge computing.
This is a strategic, hands-on position where you’ll turn real-world industrial challenges into robust, user-friendly, and future-proof products. Working closely with engineering, design, and business teams, you’ll define product strategy, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that bring meaningful value to the industrial ecosystem.

Contribute in the roadmap definition and management for the Industrial Automation products in alignment with company priorities
Drive Development
Oversee development and industrialization, ensuring consistency with cost, timeline, and quality targets
Coordinate with supply chain and operations for prototypes, pre-series, and production ramp-up
Collaborate with content and support teams to develop key materials, including getting started guides, tutorials, and example projects
Cooperate with internal functional teams to gather feedback from validation, field testing, and early access programs to fine-tune the product
Manage launch materials preparation and deliver product training and enablement to internal stakeholders (primarily sales and marketing) and to external partners (such as value added distributors and system integrators)
Monitor product performance using customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs
3 to 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in industrial automation, Industrial IoT or Building Automation
~ Strong ability to read and interpret hardware schematics to ensure seamless integration and communication with hardware and firmware teams
~ Previous experience managing industrial controllers, PLCs or industrial computers used in factory automation, process control, or infrastructure monitoring
~ Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Strong grasp of product lifecycle management, including roadmap definition, product requirements, and release planning
~ Confident in analyzing data and user insights to drive data-informed decisions on prioritization, pricing, and product performance evaluation
~ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
~ Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
Experience working with open-source hardware or software projects
Ability to write or review technical content, such as getting started guides, datasheets, or tutorials
Familiarity with mechanical design considerations such as enclosure requirements, DIN rail compatibility, IP ratings, and thermal/certification constraints for industrial use
