This role combines strong engineering expertise with customer-facing engagement, supporting the full lifecycle from technical consultation and solution definition through to commissioning and ongoing support.Working closely with Sales, R&D;, and Product Management, the successful candidate will help translate customer requirements into reliable, efficient, and competitive HVAC solutions.This position is based in **Belluno**, and you will be able to work in a hybrid working model with 2 days per week from home.**Key Responsibilities of the Role:*** Collaborate with the Sales team to analyse customer technical requirements and propose customised HVAC solutions that are technically robust and commercially competitive.* Provide technical support during both pre-sales and post-sales phases, including application consulting, functional analysis, system configuration, and component selection.* Support the configuration, commissioning, and optimisation of HVAC systems at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and reliability.* Assist with technical troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site, and supervise installation and commissioning activities when required.* Act as a technical interface with R&D; and Product Management, providing field feedback to support product improvements and the development of new solutions.* Deliver technical training to customers, OEMs, partners, and internal teams on the configuration, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.* Contribute to the development of technical documentation, presentations, and sales support materials to support commercial activities.**Required Skills and Qualifications:*** Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.* Minimum 2 years of experience in technical roles within the HVAC sector, such as installation, system parameterisation, application engineering, technical support, or pre-sales.* Solid understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics principles applied to HVAC systems.* Experience with electronic control systems and HVAC applications, including PLCs and Building Management Systems (BMS).* Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.* Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:*** Experience supporting system commissioning and optimisation in HVAC applications.* Exposure to OEM environments or complex HVAC installations.* Experience delivering technical training to customers or partners.* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused solutions.* Strong interest in developing both technical expertise and commercial understanding within the HVAC industry.**About the location:**Copeland Controls is a global leader in high-quality products and services, distributed and supported across more than 70 countries by a network of skilled and knowledgeable professionals.
