Job Description
DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering.
Responsibilities
* Install, configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance and security.
* Deploy, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia/Nagios.
* Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and provide necessary support.
* Work closely with database, network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in the role.
* Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig.
* Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks.
* Previous experience in Financial Services will be considered preferable.
