Graduate Sales Engineering Role
The Graduate Sales Engineering role is designed for early engineers aspiring to develop careers in technical sales, applications engineering, and technical marketing. You will benefit from extensive training programs, including training on NI products and related technologies, our sales process, public speaking, instructor skills, and insights into our customers and markets.
We're seeking engineers who thrive in team environments and enjoy engaging with customers on complex engineering issues. Applicants should demonstrate resilience, a passion for excellence, confidence in sharing new ideas, and a commitment to staying updated on market developments, competitors, customer demands, and new product lines to enhance their technical knowledge, customer understanding, and soft skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Spend initial months in rapid learning, gaining expertise with NI tools and our sales process while supporting NI customers with technical challenges.
2. Partner with an Account Manager after initial training to support customer requests, provide demos, training, and configurations.
3. Balance your time between inbound sales, marketing leads, customer presentations, demos, and prospecting to generate demand and pipeline.
4. Develop test and measurement expertise to prepare for future career growth.
5. Qualify demand and advance opportunities to Account Managers to drive growth.
6. Provide coaching and mentorship within the team.
7. Collaborate with various departments at NI, including sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units.
8. Travel to customer sites for training, lunch and learns, and product presentations.
9. Work with our partners and distribution channels.
10. Create a business plan to drive success in your territory, identifying actions and resources needed to support business outcomes.

You maintain customer relationships, build new connections, and listen attentively to others.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
* Strong desire for a long-term career in technical sales, marketing, or applications engineering.
* Solid understanding of electronics, computers, and programming languages (C, Python, LabVIEW, etc.).
* Ability to relocate to Paris (FR), Milan (IT) for a minimum of years.
* Willingness to relocate elsewhere in Europe if needed.
* Availability for moderate travel.
* Effective communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional European language skills.
