If you are a tech-savvy marketing professional who is passionate about how the cloud can transform industries and startups, we would like to meet you.As the Japan Startups Marketing Manager you will be responsible for working with the Startups business development and sales teams to drive the growth of AWS services across an audience of developers, founders and CEOs of startups, as well as the VC community. You will be responsible for defining and driving the marketing strategy and plans, on-point messaging, creating compelling content and building strategic, customer-focused marketing programs and campaigns. You will be responsible for the execution of campaigns targeting the startup community and will partner with APAC and US based colleagues to leverage global programs.The right candidate has successful experience in marketing a passion for startups and an entrepreneurial spirit.This is a 15‐month full‐time contractor position.Key job responsibilities
Partner with members of the AWS Startup business development, sales and marketing teams to align and develop marketing campaigns and programsCreate and successfully drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS through Startup focused initiatives and programs, including webinars, digital marketing campaigns, lead generation programs, promotions, events.Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customersManage the implementation, tracking, efficiency and measurement of marketing campaignsBrief and oversee the work of internal and external agenciesCollect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
Basic Qualifications
Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM toolsExperience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channelsExperience working on and delivering end‐to‐end projects independently4+ years of marketing experience in a technology environment directly supporting a sales team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience influencing internal and external stakeholdersExperience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast‐moving environmentExperience in a marketing role and proficiency with analytic toolsBachelor degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.Highly organized, data‐driven and detail oriented. Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.Interested in building programs and processes from the ground up and comfortable in ambiguous environmentsA strong team player – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment
