Scope of the role
The Junior Key Account Manager, reporting directly to the Wholesale Senior Key Account Manager, supports the management of key wholesale accounts and contributes to the development of strong, long-term client relationships. The role focuses on assisting in the execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs), sales analysis, and day-to-day account activities, with the objective of supporting company results in terms of sales growth and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the development and maintenance of solid, long-term relationships with a portfolio of key clients through meetings, calls, presentations, and store visits;
* Ensure regular presence in stores to gather market and customer feedback;
* Assist in understanding clients’ business needs and expectations, as well as those of their end consumers;
* Support the preparation and implementation of Joint Business Plans, contributing to action plans and follow-up activities;
* Coordinate operational activities related to JBPs under the supervision of the Senior KAM, working closely with internal departments (Logistics, Visual, Marketing, Communication) and external partners;
* Monitor and update sales performance reports (sell-out data), supporting analysis and action plan development;
* Support the delivery of high service levels to key clients, acting as an operational point of contact and assisting with problem solving and back-office activities;
* Assist in presenting new product collections and supporting the execution of product launch plans;
* Support the migration and management of non-EDI customers on the Wholesale platform.
* Collect and analyze market and sales data to support the identification of growth opportunities among existing and potential clients;
* Contribute to the sales planning process and support target setting by client and area, in collaboration with the Senior KAM and Country Manager;
* Support the implementation of commercial strategies defined for each key account and market area;
* Prepare and update regular performance reports on sales, profitability, and sell-out;
* Support gap analysis versus targets and contribute to corrective action plans, working closely with internal teams and clients.
Requirements
* 2/3 year of working experience
* Experience in a wholesale selling model;
* previous experience in trade marketing is a plus
* Proven experience in Join business plan and conceptual selling;
* Flexibility and ability to be effective in a fast changing environment;
* Strongly proactive approach and Goal oriented;
* Analytical and time management skills;
* Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory;
* Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
* Fluent in English is mandatory.
