Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets, primarily focusing on the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across various countries in Europe and beyond. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC, mainly for photovoltaic plants and, to a lesser extent, wind farms.

Job Description
The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will collaborate with the CEO and team to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
They will work closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, as well as the rest of the Business Development team, to participate in tenders, prepare offers, and nurture leads from web inquiries, existing networks, and events.
Occasionally, they will attend trade shows and events across Europe to promote our offerings.
Responsibilities
* Develop growth strategies focused on financial and customer satisfaction goals.
* Research new markets and customer needs.
* Negotiate sales contracts with clients.
* Prospect actively through cold calling and social selling.
* Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to closure.
* Maintain relationships with existing and new clients for cross-selling and feedback collection.
* Gather market intelligence on competitors and perform market analysis as needed.
* Keep records of sales activities, revenue, and invoices using the company’s CRM.
* Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
* Engage in customer interactions including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposal writing, presentations, negotiations, and contract management.
* Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and industry materials.
* Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
* Report regularly to the CEO.
Qualifications
* Excellent industry knowledge and fluency in English.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in business development.
* Extensive experience in the solar and renewables sector, understanding customer needs and challenges.
* Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing principles; training in sales and marketing is a plus.
* Motivated, proactive, with a structured approach to research and targeting industries.
* Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* High integrity, good time management, and goal-setting abilities.
* Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and client meetings.
