The Regional Sales Manager: South Europe, will play a pivotal role in driving the sales efforts for our Water Movement and Enhancement Products and will directly report to the Regional Director: Europe. This position will be based in Italy, Reggio Emilia, with extensive travel.
Role and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company targets and objectives.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, identifying new opportunities for growth.
Sales Analysis: Analyse market trends, customer feedback and sales data to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
Reporting: Provide regular, clear and accurate reports to your manager on sales performance, outcomes, forecasts and key metrics.
Business development in given areas: Work with full portfolio of GWS products, finding new businesses mainly in South of Europe: Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Spain, and Portugal.
Business travel: extensive travel is a key part of this position, including some travel abroad (new customers visits, exhibitions, etc.)
Budget Management: Manage and optimise the sales budget effectively, ensuring a high return on investment.
Your Attributes
University/college degree in Business Administration or similar.
A minimum of 2–3 years proven experience in physical product sales. Previous experience in a similar industry (Water treatment or water movement) would be a definite advantage.
Fluency in English for internal global communication is required. Other languages, preferably Italian and Spanish (speaking, listening), would be an advantage.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work on your own where needed.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to organise your work schedule.
In‐depth knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
Free to travel extensively for business (approximately 60 %).
