JOB PURPOSE
\nBurberry is hiring a Finance Industrial Controller to join Burberry Tecnica, supporting the Outerwear division at the centre of industrial and supply chain operations. The role plays a critical part in strengthening cost control, margin visibility and financial discipline, enabling confident decision-making across teams. Acting as a finance partner to Operations, Product and Supply Chain, this position translates complex data into clear, actionable insight.\n
The work directly supports craft, quality and long-term value creation across Burberry’s industrial network.

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n
- Deliver industrial controlling and performance analysis for Burberry Tecnica, with a focus on cost, margin and operational drivers.
\n
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial results, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities.
\n
- Support month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of reporting.
\n
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Product teams to provide financial insight that informs sourcing and production decisions.
\n
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and seasonal planning through robust costing and margin analysis.
\n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including standardisation, automation and the development of reporting and BI tools.

\nPERSONAL PROFILE\n
\n
- Experience in finance controlling, industrial finance or a related analytical role, with exposure to cost and margin dynamics.
\n
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
\n
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
\n
- A structured, detail-oriented approach, balanced with commercial awareness.
\n
- Curiosity and openness to improving processes, tools and ways of working.
\n
- Familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools is valued, but not essential.
