Successful applicants will gain a highly competitive salary, full training and a range of benefits. /p h3Job Outline /h3 pThe prime responsibility of the role is to drive business development activities for Automotive Transportation customers within the assigned sales region in EMEA, in alignment with the Automotive Transportation strategy defined by the Sales Manager Automotive Transportation EMEA as well as the companies’ goals and objectives. /p pThe Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new and existing Automotive Transportation opportunities, with a strong focus on strategic customer engagement, design‑in activity, and revenue growth. This role requires close collaboration with regional sales teams, technical resources, and key supplier partners to ensure consistent execution of the Automotive Transportation business plan. /p pThe position demands a hands‑on, customer‑facing commercial professional with strong market knowledge, capable of translating strategy into actionable plans, driving opportunity conversion through the design funnel, and accelerating market penetration across target accounts. The BDM will act as a market champion and subject‑matter expert for Automotive Transportation within his sales region. Primary metrics for success should be sales, profitability and demand creation performance along with Future’s network share with the supplier and the regional market. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify, qualify, and develop new Automotive Transportation business opportunities within the assigned sales region in line with the agreed business plan. /li liDrive design‑in and demand creation activities by working closely with Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Technical teams. /li liExecute the Automotive Transportation sales strategy at a regional and account level. /li liActively manage key target accounts with structured penetration plans. /li liSupport regional sales teams through coaching, opportunity reviews, and joint customer visits. /li liDevelop strong working relationships with customers and automotive‑focused suppliers. /li liEnsure accurate CRM opportunity and project data management. /li liMonitor regional sales performance and recommend corrective actions. /li liProvide market, customer and competitor feedback to management. /li liMaintain up‑to‑date knowledge of automotive technologies and trends. /li liSupport marketing and demand creation initiatives. /li liAdditional project or duties as Management may require at times. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liIdeally educated to degree level with proven experience in a business development or sales role within the electronics distribution industry; Automotive Transportation experience preferred. /li liSolid understanding of the Automotive Transportation market, customer ecosystem, and competitive landscape within the assigned sales region. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders. /li liCommercially astute and highly organised, with strong analytical capability and attention to detail. /li liCustomer‑centric, demonstrating a consistent commitment to service excellence. /li liProven ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders. /li /ul h3Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion /h3 pWe are committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
