The Area Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring targets and objectives are met and direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest results for the overall success of Belmond's properties. /ph3Scope and Purpose /h3pThe Area Sales Manager acts as a Brand Ambassador, delivering a professional and memorable experience to clients in assigned territories. You will be responsible for creating and maximizing sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets for Belmond properties in Italy and Spain, focusing on developing high-value relationships within international markets to be defined. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and execute comprehensive sales and account management plans to achieve revenue goals and acquire new business across diverse segments. /liliEstablish and nurture deep partnerships with key decision-makers, bookers, and influencers within all assigned accounts to ensure long-term loyalty. /liliProactively qualify leads and lead closing efforts by utilizing advanced selling and negotiation tools to maximize conversion ratios. /liliWork closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and the Special Events Sales Office (SESO) to align sales actions with divisional strategies. /liliRepresent the brand at trade shows, missions, and industry functions, while hosting high-impact client events and educational trips. /liliDeliver regular product training and high-level presentations to ensure the portfolio remains front-of-mind for global partners. /liliConduct strategic market analysis using Power BI and CRM tools to evaluate productivity and stay ahead of industry trends. /liliPrepare reports to Management on properties and clients performance. /liliBe available to travel, plan and execute business travels such as sales missions, trade shows and other business commitments on behalf of Belmond Italy Spain. /liliBe available to travel, plan and execute fam trips to the different Belmond Italy Spain Hotels. /liliManage administrative duties, including CRM database integrity (OSC), expense control, and regular production reporting. /liliAct as a dedicated Brand Ambassador, upholding company policies, confidentiality, and professional codes of conduct at all times. /liliEmbody Belmond's core values (Care, Confidence, Curiosity, and Community) while actively contributing to divisional meetings and professional development. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMinimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or related field. /liliDegree from a Hotel Management School is preferred. /liliExtensive knowledge of b2b key accounts based. /liliAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. /liliSelf-motivated with a result-driven approach. /liliProven capability to drive the sales process from plan to close. /liliDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. /liliExcellent communication skills in both English and Italian, written and verbal - additional languages will be considered a plus. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 - knowledge of account management and business intelligence platforms considered a plus. /liliEU passport or legal permit to work in Italy. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pAt Belmond we pride ourselves on fostering a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
