We are seeking a Service Sales Engineer to support the Italian market and drive growth in our service business. Position Service Sales Engineer – Italian Market Responsibilities
Sell the full Busch Group service product portfolio to customers across the Industrial market in Italy. Achieve service sales targets for all relevant Italian markets, defining and aligning growth objectives with Sales and Marketing teams. Develop service sales strategies for accounts based on current business and long‑term plans. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive services. Identify and pursue new service sales opportunities with existing and potential clients. Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, manage opportunities, and convert prospects into clients. Define, negotiate, and formalize service contracts, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and company policies. Create value‑based service proposals that integrate maintenance, digital tools, and lifecycle support. Promote data‑driven and IoT‑enabled service solutions to enhance system reliability, predictive maintenance, and customer value. Work closely with the technical team to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Submit service sales forecasts backed by market trends and competition analysis. Use C4 SAP CRM to manage opportunities, track customer interactions, and ensure accurate sales reporting. Comply with all health and safety initiatives and maintain a safe workplace.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of sales or engineering experience in a service or aftermarket business environment. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment. Deep knowledge of the company’s purpose, values, code of conduct, business model, services, and pricing structure. Customer‑service focus with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed expectations. Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally. Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written). Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM systems, and SAP Fiori (plus). Valid driver’s licence (B) and willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy.
