Ph3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Value-Added Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in the sales organisation, directly supporting the Solutions Development Manager. This individual is responsible for understanding customer needs, designing tailored value-added solutions (VAS), and ensuring seamless integration with core product offerings. /p pThis role sits within the Sales Operations Team, a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation and excellence are at the forefront. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining strong client relationships, making it a great place to work and grow professionally. /p h3Leads the following /h3 ul li pbCustomer Engagement Solution Design: /b /p ul lipCollaborate with Account Managers during the customer discovery process to understand client needs and business objectives. /p /li lipDesign and present tailored value-added solutions that complement core product offerings, addressing specific customer challenges and enhancing overall satisfaction. /p /li lipAct as the technical expert during sales engagements, providing detailed explanations and demonstrations of VAS offerings. /p /li lipEngage directly with customers to gather feedback, refine solutions, and ensure that proposed solutions align with customer expectations and business goals. /p /li /ul /li li pbSales Support: /b /p ul lipWork closely with the Solutions Development Manager and the sales team to support solution selling efforts, contributing to the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives. /p /li lipAssist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials that clearly communicate the value of VAS offerings. /p /li lipProvide ongoing support to Account Managers and customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement to post-sales follow‑up. /p /li /ul /li li pbTechnical Expertise Continuous Improvement: /b /p ul lipMaintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of VAS offerings, staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. /p /li lipContinuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate VAS solutions, contributing to the development of new offerings that address evolving customer needs. /p /li lipCollaborate with other VAS team members to share knowledge, best practices, and insights that enhance overall team performance. /p /li /ul /li li bData Analysis Reporting: /b ul liUse CRM software and other data platforms to track and analyze customer interactions, solution performance, and sales outcomes. /li liProvide insights and recommendations to the Head of VAS based on data analysis, helping to steer strategic decisions and improve sales effectiveness. /li liRegularly report on key metrics, including solution adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and contribution to overall sales performance. /li /ul /li li bCollaboration Cross‑Functional Engagement: /b ul liWork closely with various departments, including Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of VAS solutions. /li liAct as a liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives. /li liParticipate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving customer experience and driving business growth. /li /ul /li li bCommunication Relationship Building: /b ul liDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure successful collaboration and solution delivery. /li liCommunicate effectively with customers, Account Managers, and other stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and persuasive information. /li liParticipate in and contribute to internal meetings, training sessions, and discussion forums to share knowledge and drive team success. /li /ul /li li bMarket Awareness: /b ul liStay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide relevant insights and recommendations. /li liContribute to market analysis efforts, identifying potential risks and opportunities that could impact VAS solutions and sales strategy /li /ul /li /ul h3The good stuff /h3 pTo make a difference in this role, the Value-Added Solutions Consultant must ensure that all solutions are tailored, innovative, and aligned with customer needs.
