FD Group, a consulting firm specializing in the Automotive & Industrial Machinery sector, operating in Italy and abroad, is seeking a professional to join its team as Automotive Body (top hat) engineering and style development background. Body, Interiors and exteriors knowledge. Experience of 5- 8 years in the job.
Must have:
* Previous experience of Auto OEM/Service provider in engineering/style development with a demonstrable record of delivery of the accountabilities.
* Proven experience in body (top hat) development
* Proven experience in team leading
Reporting to project responsible :
* Manage top hat systems development and integration, planning reviews, managing List of open points, reporting
* Plan the project team activities, respecting the overall project schedule
* Continuous monitoring of the virtual prototype status
* Adherence to functional and legal requirements and constraints
* Adherence to components and process feasibility constraints
* Interface and functional detection and management through PF tools
* Geometrical and function integration
* Project reviews
* Evaluation of the robustness of the deliverable according to agreed project contents and targets with focus on
* Adherence to Targets
* Geometrical check of clashes/interferences
* Assessment of functional gaps
* Main process requirements for full feasibility
* Create and monitor concern reports with PF tools
* Application of PF tools and processes
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Master degree in automotive or mechanical engineering is preferred
* Proven experience top hat development
* Understanding of the main markets legal requirements
* Knowledge of main vehicle and body systems attributes and performances
* Industry exposure: Automotive – OEM, engineering/style service provider supplier is mandatory.
* CAD Competence : Catia V5
* Knowledge of PDMs tools is a plus
* MS Office
