He/She will be involved in the project from the development phase to the Mass Production launch and managing then the Sustaining phase of the project for the sourcing activities across assigned categories. /ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliWorking with global team in developing and executing sourcing strategy according to business strategy requirement. /liliNew supplier evaluation and introduction. /liliSetting up a global supplier base identifying best areas to guarantee competitive advantages, technical/quality requirement, service, supply sustainability. /liliCoordinates purchasing activities across Operations functions to guarantee inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. /liliSourcing industrial materials categories, mechanical and electronics components, equipment, finished products, indirect materials for manufacturing, ensuring effective supply and services availabilities for operation and business growth. /liliSupplier base optimization, monitor supplier performance and evaluation, initiate supplier improvement program. /liliTotal cost of ownership approach to guarantee best competitive sourcing to the Company. /liliCost reduction plan development across categories and implementation. /liliNegotiation with local / global suppliers to achieve targeted commercial conditions. /liliSupport cross functional projects to improve service, quality, NPI requirements and cost. /liliProvide reporting on areas of sourcing, supply, spend and PPV reports. /li /ulh3Main Requirements /h3ulliEducational Background in Engineering. /liliAt least 5 years of experience in Sourcing Management in multinational company. /liliStrong analytical and negotiation skills. /liliSolid experience with Office 365, MS project, Google docs. /liliStrong organizational and communication skills. /liliScientific approach. /liliGood knowledge in finance and contract management is advantageous. /liliExcellent relationship and influencing skills. /liliFluent English. /liliAvailability to travel across Italy, in Europe, US and Asia. /liliPrevious experience in Consumer Electronics Multinational Companies. /li /ulh3What’s in it for you /h3pIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
