Amazon is seeking Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers (FCs) to focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure an efficient shift while meeting goals.
Support all safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for associates.
Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Requirements
Direct management experience of employees and their performance.
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).
Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques. xrdztoy
