PbKey Account Manager - DIY /b /ppbr/ppbHave you got a proven track record of managing key national accounts? /b /ppbr/ppbDo you have extensive knowledge and experience within consumer goods industries? /b /ppbr/ppbCan you proactively manage allocated accounts in order to achieve objectives targets set? /b /ppbr/ppMacgregor Black are partnering with a bGlobal Market Leading DIY brand /b, on the search for a bKey Account Manager - DIY /b. This is a permanent position which is remote. /ppbr/ppAs bKey Account Manager /b you will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the Sales function. You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive; your ideas and initiatives will contribute to the success of the team and the company. Excellent organisational, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills are critical to the role. A previous experience within the homewares and furnishing products across key national retailers is required. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /ppbr/pulliOwn and develop relationships with top Italian national retailers /liliManage and grow key distributors /liliNegotiate annual terms, joint business plans, pricing, and promotions /liliIdentify and unlock new business opportunities aligned with brand strategy /liliDeliver annual sales and profitability targets /liliMonitor category and competitor performance; propose data-driven actions /liliLead product listings, assortment reviews, and merchandising negotiations /liliCollaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver account plans /liliEnsure compliance with retailer requirements (data, sustainability, packaging, pricing) /liliManage account administration including promotional calendars, reporting, and forecasting /liliAct as the Italian commercial contact point for the Cluster team /liliProvide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and insights /liliWork closely with product and marketing teams to ensure local relevance /liliShare best practices across the business /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat We're Looking For: /b /ppbr/pulli5–8 years’ national account management experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or DIY/garden categories /liliProven track record managing strategic retail accounts and delivering growth /liliStrong understanding of the Italian retail distribution landscape /liliStrong financial acumen and Excel proficiency /liliEnglish essential and Spanish is desired /liliExcellent negotiation and influencing skills /liliStrong analytical ability (turning data into actionable strategies) /liliHigh organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment /liliAbility to balance strategic focus with operational detail /liliComfortable working in an international matrix organisation /liliResilient, proactive, and hands-on /liliComfortable working autonomously with a manager based abroad /liliStrong communicator, able to build trust with retailers and distributors /liliTeam player who collaborates well across functions and geographies /liliGrowth mindset: able to spot and seize new opportunities /li /ulpbr/ppPlease contact bLewis Millican /b for further information. /p
