The TSM we're seeking will deliver technical support to customers and within their own organization in a dedicated application or industry.
Responsibilities
* Gather market trends, analyze competitors and customer needs, and provide recommendations.
* Create new opportunities with existing customers and prospects requiring technical support; manage sample and approval processes.
* Identify and prioritize opportunities by industry, qualifying based on strategy fit, volume, profitability, and success probability.
* Support customers on-site with new product introductions and ensure technical success.
* Handover projects to external Account Managers once commercialized.
* Collaborate with technical service managers and suppliers' technical departments to stay updated.
* Maintain and share technical documentation with the sales team, coordinating with product management, technical service, and regulatory affairs.
* Support sales pitches with local market knowledge.
* Engage with industry associations and participate in application working groups.
Your Profile
Ideal candidates will have:
* Proficiency in AS 400 and Excel.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to mediate between sales requests and R&D processes.
* A degree in Chemical Science (Bachelor or Master).
* At least 3-5 years of experience in R&D within a chemical, beauty, or care company.
