DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:
The Global Merchandising Intern will support the Global Merchandising Team in the activities related to seasonal Line Plan creation, management of Line Review meetings, Seasonal Planning and in-season Planning with partners around the world, to achieve merchandising financial targets: Turnover, Gross Margin and Stock Turns.
He/She will have the opportunity to collaborate in both analytical, operational and tactical tasks across different seasonal milestones. The tasks include but are not limited to data preparation and analysis, support data analytics, preparation of showrooms, etc.
KEY CHALLENGES:
Line Plan
- Support in monitoring data accuracy and timely input by different global stakeholders and countries
- Support in coordinating sample requests for global merchandising showroom
- Support in sorting and organisation of showrooms for internal meetings and seasonal Line Reviews
Seasonal Planning
- Support in the creation of data sets for hindsight analysis, category planning and assortment planning
- Assist in the consolidation of assortment plans to drive global results
