This is a permanent position which is remote.As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for driving commercial performance within the Sales function. You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive;
your ideas and initiatives will contribute to the success of the team and the company. Excellent organisational, analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills are critical to the role. A previous experience within the homewares and furnishing products across key national retailers is required.Key Responsibilities:Own and develop relationships with top Italian national retailersManage and grow key distributorsNegotiate annual terms, joint business plans, pricing, and promotionsIdentify and unlock new business opportunities aligned with brand strategyDeliver annual sales and profitability targetsMonitor category and competitor performance;
propose data-driven actionsLead product listings, assortment reviews, and merchandising negotiationsCollaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver account plansEnsure compliance with retailer requirements (data, sustainability, packaging, pricing)Manage account administration including promotional calendars, reporting, and forecastingAct as the Italian commercial contact point for the Cluster teamProvide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and insightsWork closely with product and marketing teams to ensure local relevanceShare best practices across the businessWhat We're Looking For:5–8 years’ national account management experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or DIY/garden categoriesProven track record managing strategic retail accounts and delivering growthStrong understanding of the Italian retail & distribution landscapeStrong financial acumen and Excel proficiencyEnglish essential and Spanish is desiredExcellent negotiation and influencing skillsStrong analytical ability (turning data into actionable strategies)High organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environmentAbility to balance strategic focus with operational detailComfortable working in an international matrix organisationResilient, proactive, and hands-onComfortable working autonomously with a manager based abroadStrong communicator, able to build trust with retailers and distributorsTeam player who collaborates well across functions and geographiesGrowth mindset: able to spot and seize new opportunitiesPlease contact Lewis Millican for further information.
