As Director of Sales, you drive the segment’s revenue and long-term relationships, aligning with the property’s goals and brand standards. You lead the sales team, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and oversee activities from strategy to execution. You focus on maximizing revenue and ensuring exceptional guest service through proactive leadership and market insight. This role offers the impact of shaping sales outcomes across events, catering, and rooms to support the hotels’ mission.
Retribuzione / Benefits
* Develop and implement segment sales strategy with the sales leader
* Create and execute a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and market for the DOS‑led segment
* Develop and execute promotions (internal and external)
* Provide proactive leadership to maximize revenue and set personal & team booking goals
* Monitor day‑to‑day activities of direct reports and approve catering space releases when needed
* Participate in sales calls and support proposal/contract generation
* Analyze market data and support six‑period revenue projections with Revenue Management
* Ensure exceptional customer service and collect guest feedback for continuous improvement
* Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders; collaborate with off‑property channels
* Hire and develop management and hourly staff; utilize training tools
Responsabilità
* 2‑year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in sales/marketing or related area
* OR 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in sales/marketing or related area
