The candidate will establish system and subsystem requirements and oversee the design implementation aligned with customer needs and requirements. /ppThe role involves starting from initial mission objectives to develop operational, logical, and functional architectures, correlating them with system and subsystem requirements within the MBSE / ARCADIA methodology framework. The candidate will work within a core system-level team, interfacing with agencies and customers, requiring strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and team collaboration. /ppIdeal candidates should possess a solid background in avionics, capable of defining and managing complex system designs efficiently. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3olliParticipate as a member of the System Design Department focusing on avionics aspects. /liliDefine and design system functional and avionics architectures and interfaces. /liliConduct functional analysis to meet customer needs, defining functions and sub-systems. /liliApply MBSE methods, particularly ARCADIA, using tools like Capella. /liliPerform trade-offs at spacecraft level, considering factors like mass, power, thermal dissipation, and configuration. /liliElicit system avionics requirements and define hardware/software partitioning. /liliOversee procurement of avionics sub-systems. /liliCoordinate verification and validation activities at subsystem and system levels. /liliSupport quality assurance during manufacturing, integration, and testing, addressing NCRs. /liliInterface effectively with customers. /li /olh3Qualifications and Skills: /h3ulliMaster's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronic Engineering. /liliRelevant experience in space systems is preferred. /liliKnowledge of MBSE, ARCADIA methodology, and Capella tool. /liliExperience managing subcontractors both technically and programmatically. /liliLeadership skills to manage and guide a technical team. /liliAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. /liliWillingness to learn and adapt. /liliFluent in English, spoken and written. /liliKnowledge of design and simulation tools like Matlab and Python is a plus. /li /ulpAt Thales Alenia Space, we offer more than jobs; we provide careers.
