Role Overview
As a Subsea Trees Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of state‑of‑the‑art subsea Well Systems. You will take part in the full engineering lifecycle — from concept development to detailed design, manufacturing support, testing, and installation activities — ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and quality.
Internal Title: Lead Engineer, Mechanical, Product Design and Engineering
Responsibilities
Participate in the full design cycle of subsea tree components and tooling, from concept to drawings and BOM management.
Apply and interpret key industry standards (ISO, API, ASME, NACE, DNVGL, NORSOK, EUROCODE) in the development of subsea equipment.
Review engineering and customer specifications to identify and define product requirements.
Develop 3D CAD models using CREO/IPEM and generate/review detailed fabrication and machining drawings following company and industry drafting standards.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure all documentation is properly managed within Teamcenter.
Collaborate with Analysis and Materials teams to validate mechanical designs and ensure fitness for purpose.
