About the Aftersales Department:
The Aftersales department of BYD Europe is responsible for all fleet operation, service & maintenance, technical diagnose & analysis and product improvement related topics concerning our full electric buses and trucks.
This is including, but not limited to providing technical support to our customers and service providers and continuous feedback to HQ and R&D teams internally for product improvement.
The main objective of the After-sales department is to build a relationship of mutual trust and knowledge with the customers, in order to ensure their continued satisfaction, which will benefit the business and future sales.
The Mobile Engineer is responsible for providing exceptional aftersales service to customers of commercial vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer satisfaction. This role involves extensive travel to customer sites, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and promoting company products and services to enhance customer loyalty.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical Support
o Undertake and assist with post-sales operational issues (e.g. technical diagnosis, repairs and maintenance);
o Check and collect feedback on the technical documentation (e.g. manuals, diagnostic diagrams, etc.);
o Take a lead role in providing technical solutions for highly sensitive topics;
o Help Authorized Workshops implement technical updates and activity campaigns;
o Create FMEA / D-FMEA reports, help improve products together with R&D and QA teams.
Support team management
o Supervise diagnostic tools, special equipment and spare parts in current use at authorized workshops.
o Collaborate with authorized workshops to provide our customers with excellent capabilities and quality of service.
