Repserve is a leading provider of innovative sales and marketing solutions, specializing in helping businesses expand their reach and maximize their growth potential. Our client, a dynamic company in the auto parts industry, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team while driving the company's expansion efforts. In this role, you will introduce the client to current contacts and establish online sales meetings between yourself, potential customers, and the client's management. Key Responsibilities Selling genuine automotive parts to domestic new car dealerships, wholesalers, and distributors. Strengthening current relationships with new car dealerships to increase business. Creating new relationships through on-site visits, LinkedIn, phone, etc. Following the client's project manager's direction proficiently, while working independently as needed. Traveling to customer sites when necessary. Conducting market research and analysis to determine the best targets. Creating relationships based on market analysis and outreach. Beginning to sell the product through the BDM’s existing contact pipeline. Achieving ramp-up metrics in Quarter 1, including setting up at least one introduction/sales meeting per day and closing two to three deals per week, all approved by the client's management. About Repserve Repserve leases sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, enabling firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones. Our Reps have a maximum of three complimentary (non-competing) clients, answering calls and emails at all times but managing their physical client time as per the client's allocation. This role accounts for 25% of your time, with potential to increase to 100% as your portfolio grows. The position offers a monthly salary of $800 plus commission. Your daily expenses such as petrol, parking, tolls, and mobile charges are covered. Larger expenses require prior approval. Performance-based sales commissions may be arranged with the client, with the scheme to be discussed and agreed upon. Qualifications Minimum of 4-5 years' experience selling auto parts in person and via phone. Gray market parts experience (preferred). Wholesale export and domestic auto parts sales experience (preferred). Relationships with body shop groups are advantageous. Ability to communicate effectively with parts managers. Understanding of car dealership back and front counter sales. Dealership parts department managerial experience (preferred). Existing network of new car dealership parts relationships is very important. Ability to develop and grow new and existing accounts. Fluent in English; Spanish is highly advantageous. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (training available for the right candidate). Detail-oriented. Experience at companies such as LKQ, Applegate, Transworld, and Auto Nation is very helpful.
