Ph3Overview /h3pProductLife Group is urgently looking for an FPA Controller in the context of multiple recent acquisitions in Italy to act as a link between Finance and all other business areas to integrate those companies, preparing value added financial management information and advising to facilitate improved financial performance. /ppAn FPA professional’s main function is to transform the overarching company strategy into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets. Using financial modeling, the role forecasts operating and profitability performance and sets annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). By providing an annual budget, management receives a clear picture of future performance and a direction for employees to work towards. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAnalyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially related to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin. /liliCollaborate closely with the dedicated Head of Business Unit and Managing Directors to integrate newly acquired entities into standardized processes: define lines of business (LOB) to match PLG structure, and collect data from external systems to streamline KPIs. /liliAnalyze, explain and present findings at both BU and LOB levels against predefined metrics. /liliMonitor KPIs and identify causes of any unexpected variances. /liliGather, analyze and integrate operating and financial data from different IT systems to report at group level. /liliDevelop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts. /liliProvide ad-hoc business performance reporting. /liliPerform quarterly forecasting exercises. /liliLead and animate the annual budget for the identified perimeter. /liliPresent monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments. /liliSupport management and Heads of Department with data-driven analysis. /liliImplement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports. /liliDevelop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliHard skills /liliA professional level of English is required. /liliProven experience explaining financial figures to stakeholders from a non-finance background. /liliAdvanced Excel level (VBA is a plus). /liliProven experience working in a highly evolving environment, with the ability to integrate multiple new acquisitions per year. /liliExperience working with data models and databases. /liliExperience working with ERPs and analytical cost accounting. /liliSoft skills /liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /liliHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail. /liliStrong planning and analysis skills. /liliAbility to prioritize and multitask. /liliData‑driven mindset. /liliAbility to thrive in a business partner environment. /liliProblem solving, critical thinking, and adaptability skills. /liliProject management skills. /liliRequired education /liliAt least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics; preferably a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), or a CFA or FPA certification. /liliRequired experience /liliAt least 5+ years as an FPA Controller or Financial Controller, ideally in the services industry. /liliRequired languages /liliEnglish (fluent and technical proficiency) is required. /li /ulh3About us /h3pProductLife Group provides world-class regulatory and compliance outsourcing and consulting services for the global life sciences industry.
