Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a bold, customer‐focused product strategy and vision for the holistic customer experience, including system software components.
- Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle—from ideation to development to launch.
- Define creative, high‐quality, long‐term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
- Manage prioritization and trade‐offs among customer experience, performance, and operational excellence.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Create buy‐in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners.
- Drive product launches in partnership with Engineering, Business Development, Go to Market, PR, and other cross‐functional teams.
- Drive decisions across cross‐functional teams that include engineering, UX, and partner teams.
A Day in the Life
You will be the primary advocate for our customers, defining the best product experiences for the next generation Amazon Tablets. You will own the full system software experience, providing guidance to software teams across the stack to deliver a great customer experience with the right technical trade‐offs. Your day may involve defining a product vision, partnering with engineering to optimize the product, or addressing customer feedback.

The Amazon Tablet team is a world‐class group that delivers high‐quality, innovative products loved by our customers. We focus on spinning many of Amazon's flywheels with bar‐raising mobile experiences on our tablets. Over the last 12 years, we have built 4.0+ star rated products and continue to scale our business.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end‐to‐end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‐level prioritization and planning
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Salary & Benefits
Base salary range: 151,200 – 204,600 USD annually (USA, WA, Seattle). Your package will include sign‐on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
