Role
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will coordinate nationally the commercial actions and the management of product ranges to contribute to the achievement of the company's commercial objectives.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Ensure the development of existing ranges by maintaining regular and effective contact with suppliers and customers.
* Strengthen supplier relationships to add value to the product range you will be responsible for.
* Drive the search for new suppliers and products to meet customer needs and enhance market competitiveness.
* Increase gross margin through effective negotiation with suppliers and customers, and develop sales strategies aligned with market prices.
* Implement stock management policies in line with company goals and customer expectations.
* Promote product range visibility across digital media channels.
* Support sales and technical teams in developing sales initiatives.
* Update and analyze information collected from suppliers and the sales network.
* Regularly review the product portfolio to identify new requirements and optimize portfolio development.
* Identify and manage suppliers to generate new business opportunities.
* Define and share profit strategies with the sales team based on business segmentation, setting prices to meet profit targets.
* Collaborate closely with the Sales Division and Supply Chain Division to achieve stock and sales objectives.
* Monitor product portfolio performance relative to the Annual Operating Plan and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Chemical or Scientific fields.
* Knowledge of relevant markets and raw materials, especially Silicones and Water Treatment.
* Previous experience as a Product Manager within a chemical distribution company.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Results-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset in managing own area.
* Willingness to work with diverse, cross-functional teams.
* Motivated, curious, enthusiastic, and open-minded; capable of working in both local and international contexts.
* Willing to travel.
* Knowledge of Office (Excel), SAP, and Salesforce (SFDC) is a plus.
