KWS Vegetable Italy is looking for an exceptional Account Manager (m/f/d), with focus in Spinach and Swiss Chard. This role is designed to drive our sales and market strategy, aligning with the company's overall objectives to ensure sustained growth and profitability in the global vegetables sector. The candidate will be integrating the Customer Team baby spinach and chard Europe. The ideal candidate will possess strategic insight, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the horticulture sector, particularly in the vegetable seeds sector. This is a full time and permanent position, based in Battipaglia region, ItalyYour responsibilities:Account Management: Implement and contribute to the crops account management strategy, focusing on fresh baby spinach and chard in Italy.Market Development: Develop KWS vegetables' market position and share with key accounts, and support commercial sales activities.Partnership Building: Build trusted partnerships with key accounts and regional dealers, and support growers, packers, and retailers.Market Monitoring: Monitor market developments and report data on acreage, seed prices, competitive activity, and trends.Product Knowledge: Understand the fresh market spinach and Swiss chard product range and production cycles, and support trial plans.Network Building: Establish a network within the fresh market baby spinach and chard supply chain.Account Plans: Develop and implement account plans for key accounts, focusing on the 4 P’s (Product, Price, Place, Promotion).Product Launches: Execute new product launch plans and commercial introductions, and evaluate product performance.Sales Forecasting: Maintain reliable sales forecasts and manage outstanding accounts.Collaboration: Work with RD, Product Management, Marketing, and the finance department to support various initiatives.Reporting: Report to the Italian Sales Manager and the European Customer Team Lead.Your profile:Requires a minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy or HorticultureAt least 5 years of experience in the vegetable (seed) industryResidence in Battipaglia area maximum 1 hour driving farGreen fingers, understanding customer needs and business dynamicsProven experience in sales and/or production within the agricultural industry, achieving business resultsFluent English in word and writing, additional language(s) are an advantageThe position will require international travels (up to70% international and national travels)Experience with Sales Force, ABS and Power BIis an added valueWe look forward to receiving your online application through our SuccessFactors application system!
