Key Responsibilities:
* Category Strategy Development:
Analyze industry and consumer trends to devise long-term development strategies for product categories.
* Product Assortment Management:
Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
* Pricing and Promotion:
Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize consumer appeal and profitability.
* Vendor Relations:
Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment with category strategies and execution plans.
* Performance Analysis:
Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
* Preferred Category:
Fashion, home and garden, FMCG, Electronics.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 year of working experience.
* Fluent in English as working language.
* Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role in a marketplace or other e-commerce environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in using category management software and tools.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
