In total, the forteq Group employs around 700 people. /ppBased at our head office in Nidau / Switzerland or at one of our European production sites, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious personality as a /ppbBusiness Development Manager Automotive / Industry /b /ph3Position /h3pbBusiness Development Manager Automotive / Industry /b /ph3About the Role /h3pWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Group CEO, this role is specifically focused on generating new business and expanding our market presence by offering process engineering and manufacturing services for plastic injection molding parts within the automotive industry and other markets. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliConduct market research to identify new business opportunities and to achieve the company’s commercial objectives /liliUse data to identify potential new business, project sales and determine profitability /liliIdentify and engage with potential clients, including automotive OEMs and other 2nd Tier suppliers /liliInitiate customer engagement activities, discuss new opportunities and exchange information about them /liliConsult with potential customers to understand their needs, identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs /liliProvide technical support and guidance to clients regarding process engineering and manufacturing capabilities /liliDevelop commercial plan, prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients /liliPrepare quotation by utilizing knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and automotive industry standards to effectively communicate with clients and meet their specific needs /liliNegotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals /liliRepresent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our process engineering and manufacturing services /liliGrow a network of industry contacts to generate new business leads /liliPrepare sales budget, monitor and approve expenses /liliReview and analyse sales and operational records and reports /liliWork with purchasing and suppliers to develop new customer opportunities /liliStay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks /li /ulh3Your profile /h3ulli15 – 20 years of seniority / work experience in a similar role /liliTechnical background / Engineering Degree is evident to understand the Tier 2 process in the Automotive Industry (must have qualification) allowing you to understand the customers needs and producing innovative solutions /liliKnowledge of plastic technology is compulsory /liliExcellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills /liliAbility to break the ice and engage the customer emotionally /liliMotivated by success and growth, bringing the business home /liliYou are in the position to build on your own network in the industry with potential clients /liliProven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships /liliProficiency in market research and analysis /liliStrong organizational and time management skills /liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team in an international Matrix Organization /li /ulh3Our offer /h3pThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company in the automotive industry and beyond.
