Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesFulfill bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to Belmond policies, high standards and procedures;Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere, establishing and maintaining good relationships with all guests and handling requests and enquiries;Plan, organise and control the operations of a bar;Monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use‐by‐dates on perishable goods and order replacement deliveries as required;Supervise the work of bar staff and other bartenders;Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies;Bring suggestions for improvement.
RequirementsEffective communication, emotional intelligence and adaptability;Collaboration: be a role model for teamwork and proactively go out of your way to help others;Drive results: set clear goals and expectations and maximise resource allocation to achieve them;Capable of advising on best‐selling prices and review regularly according to the Bar Manager's instructions.
Other requirementsPrevious deluxe hotel & bar experience in the same position;Fluent in English and Italian; third language preferred;Good product knowledge;Exceptional customer service skills;Very presentable and well groomed;Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both with guests and colleagues;Detail and guest care oriented.
