JOB PURPOSE
In line with MSC Cruises service standard & procedures, the B2B Contact Centre Agent provides commercial advice (by telephone and other channels) to travel agents in order to finalize the sale of MSC Cruises products and services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Handles travel agencies’ telephone calls, in line with the Service Standards and Procedures;
• Responds to travel agents’ requests coming by telephone, email or fax;
• Promotes MSC Cruises products and services;
• Uses the reservation system to process telephone sales;
• Assists travel agents with specialist support such as reservations changes, purchase of additional services and special requests.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
• Fluent in Italian and English. Any additional European language (in particular French and German) is considered an advantage;
• University degree (Economics, Business Administration, Marketing & Communication, Linguistic studies);
• Experience of dealing with clients either over the phone or face to face;
• Sales experience (preferable);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Communication and interpersonal skills;
• Sales and persuasion skills;
• Proactivity and results orientation;
• Problem solving.
