Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Area Manager DACH to join our Wholesale HQ team and lead the development of our business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Responsibilities
* Own and drive the wholesale business development strategy across the DACH region, ensuring sustainable and qualitative growth
* Manage and develop strategic wholesale accounts and key retail partners with a long-term business approach
* Identify new business opportunities, market potential and distribution development initiatives
* Lead seasonal sales campaigns and support go-to-market execution across the region
* Negotiate commercial agreements and support strategic business planning activities
* Coordinate closely with the local master agency to ensure alignment on commercial priorities, customer management and market execution
* Monitor market trends, competitors, sell-through dynamics and customer performance
* Ensure consistency of brand positioning, distribution quality and commercial execution across the region
* Support forecasting, budgeting and sales planning activities in collaboration with HQ teams
* Act as the main commercial reference point for the DACH market within the organization
Qualifications
* Proven experience within premium outdoor, technical apparel, sporting goods or fashion brands operating through wholesale and specialty retail distribution
* Strong knowledge of the DACH market and established network within the region
* Solid experience managing key accounts and international commercial relationships
* Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong negotiation and business development skills
* Strong analytical and commercial planning capabilities
* Fluent in German and English
* Availability to travel extensively across the DACH region and regularly to Bern (Switzerland)
Compensation & Benefits
The total annual gross compensation package, including base salary and performance-related premio (MBO), ranges from €70,000 to €90,000, depending on experience, skills, and overall profile. The package is complemented by a company car, also available for private use.
