It is through their eyes that we’re able to explore uncharted territory and bring ideas into sharper focus.The Role in SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Area Manager DACH to join our Wholesale HQ team and lead the development of our business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.Based at our Italian Headquarters, the role will be responsible for driving the wholesale growth strategy across the DACH region, managing key strategic accounts and ensuring qualitative market expansion in line with the brand positioning and long-term commercial objectives.The Sales Area Manager DACH will work in close partnership with our long-standing master agency based in Bern (Switzerland), which manages local operational trade marketing activities, field sales agents and customer service for the region.The position represents a key connection point between HQ and the local market, ensuring strong alignment on commercial priorities, distribution strategy and brand execution.Main ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the wholesale business development strategy across the DACH region, ensuring sustainable and qualitative growthManage and develop strategic wholesale accounts and key retail partners with a long-term business approachIdentify new business opportunities, market potential and distribution development initiativesLead seasonal sales campaigns and support go-to-market execution across the regionNegotiate commercial agreements and support strategic business planning activitiesCoordinate closely with the local master agency to ensure alignment on commercial priorities, customer management and market executionMonitor market trends, competitors, sell-through dynamics and customer performanceEnsure consistency of brand positioning, distribution quality and commercial execution across the regionSupport forecasting, budgeting and sales planning activities in collaboration with HQ teamsAct as the main commercial reference point for the DACH market within the organizationKey RequirementsProven experience within premium outdoor, technical apparel, sporting goods or fashion brands operating through wholesale and specialty retail distributionStrong knowledge of the DACH market and established network within the regionSolid experience managing key accounts and international commercial relationshipsStrategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong negotiation and business development skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with agencies, distributors and internal teams in an international environmentStrong analytical and commercial planning capabilitiesFluent in German and EnglishAvailability to travel extensively across the DACH region and regularly to Bern (Switzerland)CompensationThe total annual gross compensation package, including base salary and performance-related premio (MBO), ranges from €70,000 to €90,000, depending on experience, skills, and overall profile.
