Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Requirements
* Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in demanding environments.
* Extensive experience with CCTV and related technologies, or similar market segments, especially presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
* Ability to work independently to understand customer needs, define solutions, and create professional commercial proposals (system integrators, end-users).
* Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers, including IT & Networking.
* Previous experience with a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
* Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and topology.
* Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Desire to positively impact the market and enhance brand recognition.
* Ability to develop strong, lasting relationships with internal colleagues and key clients.
* Independent thinking, good judgment, and motivation to achieve targets.
* Team player with success in collaborative situations.
* Logical, well-organized, with attention to detail.
* Proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting at board level and communicating clearly at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
* Valid driving license.
Location : This is a field-based role, ideally based in South Italy. Candidates from other regions may be considered based on experience and skills. Extensive travel within Italy and occasional travel outside Italy may be required.
