The Position
As a Brand Manager you will drive and manage marketing activities, leading the development and execution of product launch strategies. Additionally in this role, you will:
* Build brand equity across healthcare professionals, patients, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and execute promotional strategies, including organising events, internal and external communications, and annual tactical plans.
* Analyse market trends, build sales forecasts, and monitor product performance to inform strategic decisions.
* Manage the assigned budget to achieve business objectives and leverage additional funding opportunities.
* Lead extensive cross-functional teams to address environmental challenges and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in the office each week, so ideally, you should live within a commutable distance from our office in Rome.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
* A master’s degree in marketing or a relevant life sciences field.
* 3-4 years of experience as a Brand Manager in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry, with international exposure.
* Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, execution, and proactive attitude.
* Strategic and analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
* Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work under pressure.
You should also be a dedicated team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude, agile in adapting to change and driving innovative solutions.

The Diabetes BU Marketing team is at the forefront of Novo Nordisk’s mission to improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Based in Italy, our team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing strategies. With a strong focus on innovation and cross-functional alignment, we are dedicated to shaping the market and creating value for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
You will join a team of talented individuals reporting directly to the Head Of Marketing Diabetes.
